How can I change the link that’s behind the logo in the navigation menu?

I’ve made a landing page, set it to frontpage in the settings. On this landing page there is a button: enter website, then people go to www.domain.de/home page. On this page the header appears with the logo. But I need the logo to go to the /home page, instead of the landing page.

I looked for it under classic.menu -> js. But I couldn't find the line to change it.

    Thanks very much!

    Hello Bianca,

You can change the logo link with a jquery code.
    Please go to wp-admin>fwrd>custom css/js
And add this code in the custom JS field (not the custom css field):

    $('.classic-menu .logo a').attr('href', 'http://new-url.com');

Of course you have to replace 'http://new-url.com' by you new home page url.

    Thank you,

    Dear Alexandre,

I'm sorry, but I'm still having issues with the same problem. It worked for a few hours and now it switched back on its own. I'm having two problems essentially:

1.) I keep switching my landing page as my starting page, but wordpress changes it automatically, so that the page I named "home" becomes the starting page. --> so if the user enters the URL www.christoph-heesch.com, instead of seeing the landing page like I'd like it, he gets to the website straigt-away.

2.) Right after setting the landing page as the starting page, it works for a few times, that the user gets to the landing page using the URL (like I want it), but afterwards, when he enters the website and clicks on the logo he is redirected to the landing page, even if I changed it URL of the LOGO in wp-admin>fwrd>custom css/js, like you recommended it). I think there are two commands that are excluding themselves or something like that, but I don't know how to fix it.

Can you help? I'll send you my log-in privately, so maybe you can take a look. Thank you very much!!

    And another minor issue:

3.) I have made the landing page in two languages, and it would be great if the user could switch the language on the landing page itself, so that for example: if he gets on the "German" landing page, he can choose English, see the landing page in English and then enter the website). But as I don't want to have the menu on the landing page, I couldn't manage to do that in a different way.. Do you think there is a way to do that as well?

    Thank you very much!!

    Bianca

    Hi there,

    1) Sorry if the custom code I gave doesnt work. I dont have any solution for your request. This is a bit beyond the scope of our support. Sorry.

    3) You can add a button linked to "https://christoph-heesch.com/en/" in the german homepage
and linked to "https://christoph-heesch.com/" in the english homepage.

    Thank you,

    Dear Alexandre,

Oh, that's a real pity. May I ask you how the landing page was originally planned? Because it wasn't my idea... I found it in the demos and therefore thought that it was planned this way (so, to put it before the original website and to link to it from there). I managed to solve the problem that my starting-page changed on its own (it was given to the name of the page "home", that I changed now). So my only problem left is how I can change the link to the logo in the menu. Is there no way, even in the CSS?

Thank you very much and I'm sorry for being stubborn, but it would be great if it worked..

The landingpage template could be used different way. It is up to the customer to use our design template as he want. It could be used as a landing page when the site is not ready, when the site still in production. It could be use as the homepage. It could be use on another url to redirect the visitor to your main site.

    Thank you,
